INTRODUCTION

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Tsugaru Strait Swimming Association. We are a new organization able to provide entree into the notoriously impenetrable Northern regions of Japan surrounding the Tsugaru Strait. We are able to provide logistical support by planning detailed itineraries and personalized trip plans. We are staffed by native Japanese speakers with experienced English-speaking support.

The Tsugaru Strait Swimming Association is the only officially recognized cross-channel swimming association, recognized by the Hakodate, Hokkaido municipal government. Our first formal season will run from June, through September 2012. We are dedicated to assisting swimmers seeking to take on the challenge of the Channel crossings, as well as those in pursuit of the Ocean's Seven.
